Talking about myself (by Amanda)

Hello, guys! This is Amanda, one of the creators of Sweet Dreams. I am fifteen years old and I study at Colégio Santo Antônio, in Belo Horizonte. Actually, I am from Itabira, a small city in the interior of Minas Gerais. I moved to BH in the beginning of this year, because I wanted to study in a good school. I don't live with my parents, because they still live in Itabira. I live in an apartment with three other girls: my sister Fernanda, her friend Marina and my cousin Beatriz. It's not easy to live without my parents, because I need to do lots of things I didn't use to do, such as walking alone on the streets, having lunch out, buying bread, and many other things. I think I'm much more independent and mature now and it's good.

The school is not easy, I have to study a lot. At this time, I'm very disappointed, because I studied really, really hard for the trimestrals, and I'm not satisfied with my grades. I don't have much time to go out on the weekends and, when I'm free, I'm usually very tired, and I prefer to stay home and watch TV. When I lived in Itabira, I used to have English and Spanish classes, and work out. But nowadays, I'm used to dedicating all my time to school, because I know it's very important for my future. My biggest dream is to be very, very rich, and that's why I am studying really hard.

OMG! It's late... I've gotta take a shower and sleep, because today was a very long day and I need to rest for tomorrow. I will talk more about myself later... Good night!

  1. Great experience of living without your parents and being so young, Amanda. Hope you do fine and I'm sure you are more mature because of that.
    I loved your post.
